The G10 handle is comfy in normal use as well as reverse grip, and we've added a stout finger guard to help stop your hand slipping up while you carry out the sometimes messy job of processing your game down in the field. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sabre grind comes razor sharp as you'd expect and the use of a sabre grind keeps a lot of strength and robustness in the spine, the secondary bevel is a convex edge which is both easy to sharpen and tougher than a standard \"V edge\" due to the extra material behind the edge.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe steel is 3.5mm AEBL stainless, regarded highly for the fine grain structure which was developed originally for razor blade manufacturing. As you would expect for a steel developed for razor blades it takes a great edge and holds it well, as a bonus it has great toughness and ease of sharpening (for a stainless) we recommend stropping with leather and metal polishing compound after use to keep that edge lively. AEBL is one of the most popular steels both in the UK and USA with custom knife makers, it simply ticks all the boxes. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe've laser tattooed the Norse quote \"No lamb for the lazy wolf\" which we just think feels right on a hunting knife, while adding some Norse heritage as this is a line from the Viking text “The Havamal”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWeve fitted this Gamekeeper with a hardwearing piece of  multicoloured G10 with contrasting liners, held on with flared tubes and of course epoxy for a mechanical fit as well as a chemical fit making for an unshakable bond.
