This full sized belt knife fits beautifully in the hand and is a great fit in reverse for those power cuts when working with wood. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe knife is made from 3.5mm AEBL stainless steel which is well regarded in terms of its toughness, resistance to patina and ease of sharpening (for a stainless steel). The spine of the knife is left sharp to aid in fire making when striking ferro rods as well as for scraping birch bark and other tinders, something often overlooked by the big knife making brands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe shape of the tang and scales have a little more sculpting to them, often referred to as a coke bottle style and there's a relief cut out to accommodate the swell that's created in the hand when you grip and work hard, this makes the knife less prone to hot spots and simply more ergonomic overall, the tang shape also creates a comfy reverse grip.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’ve added the Helm Of Awe image to the blade face and embossed the leather wrap to tie it all together. We also laser tattooed the underside of the spine with one of our favourite sayings “No lamb for the lazy wolf” a line from the Viking text “The Havamal” to add a little Norse Magic. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur signature hybrid leather and kydex is a fantastic option for a user, we’ve used 3.5mm veg tan leather to soften the look of the thermoforming kydex and added a removable dangler making a beautiful heirloom piece that you can be proud of. If you prefer the look of a standard sheath, the leather wrap can simply be unscrewed and a standard Tek-Lok style belt clip can be used in its place. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you need this in a left handed format just let us know and we will make a left handed leather wrap, this normally takes 24 hours to turn around.
